Do Not Duplicate stamp works great on applications such as wood, leather, aluminum, brass, sheet metal, and cold roll steel (works great on keys too). It is not designed for stainless steel, hardened steel, or heat treated material. To use the stamp you simply place it on the surface you want stamped and hand strike it with a hammer. Writing will be imprinted on the material.
