The Hakko FX-805 packs 400W of power, meant for difficult soldering of large mass components such as high current inductor coils, large transformers, shields, and difficult-to-solder heat sinks. The station has new T37 390W Tips and is also backwards compatible with T33 260W tips that have top-controlled temperatures and multiple shapes. All with brand-new software and an easy-to-use operating system to make programming and testing as easy as 1, 2, 3.
