SurfPrep’s 3″ X 4″ Electric Ray is power-packed with 3 speeds (4,000, 7,000 & 9,000 RPM). Its brushless outer-runner motor is constructed with bigger magnets, providing greater torque which saves energy compared to inner-runner motors. The tool’s computer board is completely protected with a patented rubberized seal preventing environmental contamination. Patented spindle bearing fan enhances life by keeping motor & bearings at a lower temperature. Electric Ray Sanders have significant energy cost savings compared to pneumatic sanders as well as two override protection programs to enhance the life of the tool.

SurfPrep is updating their 3″ X 4″ tools, accessories, and abrasives with a new 6-hole pattern instead of the standard 4-hole. Throughout the next few months, all inventory will be replaced by the 6-hole pattern. Once replaced, 3” x 4” 4 hole items will no longer be available. Please keep in mind that a 4-hole abrasive will work great on a 6-hole backup pad and vis-versa.
