BFN series AC ionizers from Transforming Technologies create a dense and well-balanced ionization current. They are unique in their ability to deliver fast decay times with low offset voltages. Continuous balance and decay protection is assured by the reliable AC design. Its emitters are made of pure tungsten and spaced further apart to minimize ion recombination, increase discharge efficiency and provide a broader coverage area.

Built with the User in Mind

The ionizers are equipped with energy efficient LED task lights, to help alleviate eye strain, headaches and even have a positive effect on mood – all while saving on energy costs. An integrated emitter point cleaner, removable front and rear fan guards with safety switches combine to make the BFN803 a user-friendly ionizer. The safety switches turn off all power to the ionizer during service for the operator safety.

Applications

The BFN803 is designed to neutralize electrostatic charges in bench top environments, sensitive materials assembly, Medical Device, SMT, Electronics Assembly, Automotive packaging, cleanroom and laboratory environments. Hang the ionizer over the workstation to save valuable table space.

Verification and Calibration

The BFN803 ionizer comes factory calibrated and with a calibration certificate. Ionizer performance can be tested and verified with a charge plate monitor. Important tests to perform are positive and negative decay times and ion balance. It is recommended to test ionizer performance at least 1.0 per year.
