Weller NR Series Heated Hot Air Nozzles

When removing SMD components, the need to prevent damage to the circuit board and adjacent components is important. Weller systems use conducted heat from a hot plate to heat the component to a temperature just below the solder melting point. Weller nozzles then direct hot air precisely onto the legs of the component to melt the joint, allowing it’s removal. The combination of heat and precision-placed air is especially suitable for lead free solders with higher melting points.
